R&M Credit for first time registrants

Hollydell Ice Arena and R&M Hockey Supply are collaborating on an equipment package for all new Learn to Play participants.

  • All first time registered players will receive a $200 credit at R&M, which is expected to cover the cost of all protective equipment and a hockey bag.
  • R&M will aid all skaters in the choice of an appropriate stick and pair of skates.
    • The credit can only be applied to a player once (if a player enrolls in a 2nd LTP session they will not receive a 2nd credit).
    • The credit will be valid until 9/30/2025 and can be used on any R&M purchase.
    • R&M can not guarantee inventory of all equipment items.

STEP 2: LEARN TO PLAY!
GET STARTED WITH HOCKEY SPECIFIC SKILLS

SPONSORED BY CDM

The Learn to Play program is Hollydell's introduction to hockey specific skills (stick handling, shooting and passing).  Learn to Play is the first progression to the skills of the game of hockey, and requires full equipment. We target 3 to 8 year olds, although exceptions can be made.  Skaters should be confident with Snowplow 4 or Basic 2 Skating Skills.

For any players who want to get on the ice twice per week, we would strongly encourage signing up for a LTS class.  We have hockey specific LTS class that focuses solely on skating, the key skill for any hockey player.

*With the generosity of CDM Electronics, Inc, Hollydell is excited to announce that its first time Learn To Play participants will receive a full credit for the Learn to Play program at the end of the session.  This $300 credit can be used for any future Hollydell programming.  CDM is passionate about access to hockey and has been a long time benefactor of Hollydell Ice Arena.  Their decision to sponsor Learn To Play is a direct result of their desire to open up the sport to as many players as possible.  As has been the case for the last year, all LTP participants will also get a $200 equipment voucher for use at R&M Hockey Supply.  Hollydell Ice Arena and CDM want to make sure financial constraints are not preventing our players of the future from getting started in the sport.
