The Hollydell Ice Arena (HIA) has been South Jersey’s premier indoor ice arena since 1992. Originally built with two ice surfaces, one NHL sized and the other Olympic sized, the HIA has grown dramatically since 2017, adding a 2/3 rink (Futures), converting the Olympic rink to an NHL size (which is known by CDM) as well as opening Dunlop’s Bar and Grill which is located on the second floor between the CDM and NHL rinks and has a nice view of each. It also is the home of R&M Hockey Supply (Pro Shop) and Training Aspects gym.

In 2019, HIA purchased Choice Sports Arena which is located on the same street as the main HIA with the closest corners of the properties being only 500 feet apart.  Choice Sports was built as a roller rink and for in-line skating. Since then, a full-size NHL rink surface has been added along with a fully functional concession stand.

HIA is the home of the North American Hockey League’s (NAHL) Philadelphia Rebels, The Eastern Hockey League’s (EHL) junior team Philadelphia Hockey Club, and youth teams Tier 1 Philadelphia Hockey Club, Tier 2 Hollydell Hurricanes, Tier 2 Girls Philadelphia Belles, Venom, V Hockey Club, Hollydell Selects, Jr Hurricanes and Hollydell Youth Development Program (HYDP). It also is the home of the Hollydell Figure Skating Club. In all, over 1,000 members skate and compete at the various levels at the HIA.

HIA also is the home of Rowan University’s men’s and women’s ice hockey teams as well as many High School teams such as St. Augustine Prep, Gloucester Catholic, Washington Township and Clearview to name a few.

HIA also has hosted numerous domestic and international ice and roller hockey competitions and figure skating championships.
